Digital Products

Digital products (EPUB and PDF bundles) are delivered by email with download links. Links expire 72 hours after purchase. Save your files promptly.

You may use digital files on your personal devices (e-readers, tablets, phones, computers). You may not redistribute, resell, or share purchased files with others.

Digital File Watermarking

Purchased digital files include purchaser identification embedded in the file metadata. This helps protect copyright by tracing unauthorized copies back to the original purchaser. The watermark does not affect readability or file functionality in any way.

  • PDF files include your email address and order ID in the document metadata (Subject and Keywords fields).
  • EPUB files include your email address, order ID, and purchase date in the publication metadata.

This information is stored only in the file itself and in our order records. It is not shared with third parties except as required to process your order (e.g., Stripe for payment handling).

Physical Products

Physical products (card decks) are shipped to the address you provide at checkout. Shipping times vary by carrier and destination. You will receive tracking information by email when your order ships.

Refunds

Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded. If you experience a technical issue with your download, contact support@discursive.com and we will work to resolve it. Physical products may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition. Contact us to arrange a return.

Privacy Policy

What We Collect

  • Order information — name, email, shipping address (for physical orders), provided at checkout via Stripe.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
  • Site analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled. We collect page views, referral sources, and basic device info. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
  • Email signups — if you sign up for our mailing list, your email is stored in Kit (ConvertKit). You can unsubscribe at any time.

How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver purchased products (digital downloads, physical shipments)
  • To send order confirmation and delivery emails
  • To embed purchaser identification in digital files (see Watermarking above)
  • To send mailing list communications (only if you opted in)
  • To analyze site traffic and improve the site

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

Order records are retained indefinitely for customer support and copyright enforcement. Mailing list data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings (14 months for user-level data).

Your Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
